Author, Kevin Callan, and his dog Ellie continue on their long canoe trip south of Biscotasing. They end up having to go back the way they came by the time they reach the creek leading to the Spanish River due to low water levels.

I'm very happy with my MSR cookware. It's a tad expensive and prior to buying it I would simply buy pots and pans from garage sales and take the handles off - but I've owned my MSR set for over 4 years now and love how they fit together, light weight and the frying pan is top notch (no-stick) type.
