This is part of a series of videos about selling art on ebay. 'Wrapping' is split into two parts because there's a lot to tell you and wrapping art is quite time consuming. Part 2 will be uploaded in the next day or two.

The whole series relates to an article about selling art on ebay that I wrote which you can read at:

I'll be doing more of this series. I know wrapping is kind of out of sequence in the process but someone asked me about how I wrap my artworks so I thought I'd start there.

  • The audio quality was annoying. Hard to listen to you. Also I didn't like the music.

  • @RobbyArt: Sorry about the audio quality. When I filmed this I was trying out a new webcam which had poor sound quality on the mic and the video quality wasn't the best either. Strangely the same webcam worked much better on another computer I tried it on - with great sound and picture quality.

  • Hi TET! I have a question, if you don't mind. How do I make/buy certificate of authenticity to fill out and attach to my art work to send with my painting if anyone buys it?

  • I make mine using MS Publisher and print them onto good quality A4 paper. The certificate should include: Artwork title, date created, medium, size and photo of the work. The crucial part is the declaration certifying that the artwork is an original work created by you (include your name). The certificate should be hand signed and dated by you (i.e. your actual written signature not a scan of it). Other information you might include is background for the artwork, your contact info etc.

  • can i get a link to your ebay store?

  • I don't actually have an ebay store but you can view my ebay profile by visiting my web site and select 'Ebay Profile' from my site menu.

I've never had much use for an ebay store since I usually only produce 2-4 artworks a month and most sell at auction.

  • @jlinek - Personally I've never been scammed by anyone on ebay or Paypal and I've used both for the best part of ten years. Transactions that go bad often occur because people aren't careful and don't follow site procedures and guidelines when problems do arise. Paypal is owned by ebay and is fast becoming the number one site for online transactions. You can't afford not to use it.

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers

  • very very helpful, ur a real gem, thanxs:)
