We're bringing you pictures from Hackney which is in the north east of the city, where skirmishes have already broken out between police and youths- this time in daylight. Home Secretary Theresa May is meeting police chiefs about the violence sweeping London. The latest clashes follow trouble over the weekend as rioters and looters reacted to a fatal police shooting. 35 police officers were injured and over two hundred people arrested.

  • I'm afraid many of these young rioters, looters and extremists are suffering from delusions, they have convinced themselves that they are "bringing down the system" and "hurting the rich and powerful" by burning and looting local corner shops and other types of local businesses in their area, needless to say the reality is they have hurt their own, those shops are run by locals not the rich and powerful, I wish they'd wake up, face facts, stop fooling themselves, then they might get somewhere.

  • @darkstar1345a she wont. you have no evidence that we are not living in a democracy and stop using CAPITALS CAPITALS CAPITALS.

  • @Brainstormerbubble u sound like u have a good head on your shoulders, they did fail majorly those few days n nights, many good people suffered for nothing

  • @jsilkldn

Yes, I agree with that, it was probably a bit of everything really, including criminal opportunism, what I would say though is that a good government should be able to protect it's good citizens from the bad apples, that day they failed and still are failing, there's so many lunatics on the street nowadays, some potentially dangerous, they need help which they are not getting properly and we need better protection, this is where the government has a lot to answer for.

  • @proff180 i think the majority were just opportunistic theives to be honest, not making a political statement, they jus loved the hype and the opportunity to get free stuff

  • i'd just get an Ak47 and go rebel vs empire on those rioters

  • Fucking baboon showing its arse... why are these not kept in london fucking zoo instead of hackney!!

  • hahah look at 2:24

  • @SarahLeeAnn

I reckon it's a bit of both really but I agree they are opportunists.

  • @proff180 I'm not so sure the even think they are "bringing down the system" They seem like they are just violent people who had an opportunity to be destructive. I understand unrest, but I think a lot of these kids (and I say that as a 20-something) just see an opportunity.

  • LOL, dont you wish you had an AC-130 xD
