  • @h0k13 absolutely. It's not easy to build a dynasty anymore. Everyone has talent and somewhere between 2001 and now the team forgot how to work for it. Look at the Virginia loss the last game in the Orange Bowl. The lack of effort was only eclipsed by the lack of caring that they were closing down an historic stadium in such a pitiful way.

Golden has brought passion back. I'd love to see him helm the program for a long time with results...similar to Beamer, but get titles.

  • @WesBrownPhoto I guess we will just have to wait and see, huh?

  • @h0k13 I'm still encouraged. This year wasn't about the record, it was about clearing the program of a lot of lethargy and self righteous attitudes. Golden needed to put his stamp on the program and weed out a lot of bad apples. Next year will be tough, as I'm sure some kind of sanctions are coming...but he's changed the mindset.

Not too mention, it's been years since we've been in that many games in the 4th quarter.

  • @WesBrownPhoto OOPS

  • "at the toughest stadium in the ACC."

"an epic battle with between the ACC powers."

    Finally, someone who recognizes.

  • im a student here at virginia tech. with that said, i have a lot of respect for golden. he's really well spoken and is exactly what you guys need. seems like he's really creating something special. great game too, instant classic.

  • @canefan17 Trying to figure out if you are just extremely biased or actually did not watch the last view of the "catch" by Miller. No one that saw the last view could honestly say he caught the ball.

  • @ConsumingFire39

What does the 53 yard completion have to do with Lamar Miller's TD catch?

  • @canefan17 As if the home field reviews the plays and not the officiating crew... Nice relevance on that point. It was blatantly obvious that he dropped the ball on the last replay. In real time and the first to angles, it looked like it was probably a catch. The problem is that the last replay was shown after the extra point.

Again, I ask you, do you think the 53 yard completion in the first half on third down that got overturned in Miami's favor was a good call?

  • @ConsumingFire39

Blatantly obvious? So blatantly obvious that they didn't even review it at a home game?

A home field that in 2005 reviewed walk in Cane TDs.
