Twinings Green Tea Total Summer Cocktail

Twinings has teamed up with celebrated cocktail maker Alex Kammerling to design summer fresh cocktails. Twinings in the month of August is also offering a competition on their Facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/twiningsteauk where you can win a cocktail making masterclass at the exclusive Soho House private member club in London.

Twinings Green Tea Total Summer Cocktail
(alcohol free)

Glass: Highball

200ml Twinings green tea with orange and lotus Flower
1 Slice ginger
15ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
15ml elderflower cordial
3 teaspoons caster sugar
8 Mint leaves

How to make:
Using the end of a rolling pin, crush the ginger in the bottom of a mug, add 200ml boiling water, sugar and the tea bag and brew for 4 minutes. remove tea bag and allow to cool.

Strain through a fine sieve into a tall glass, add other ingredients and
fill with ice.

Stir well until ice cold. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lemongrass stalk. Cheers - a great summer alcohol free cocktail.
