Why did this individual not contact an attorney? A reasonably good attorney could have reached a settlement with the insurance company to pay all claims and damages and attorney fees. Short of that, the individual should have contacted the state attorney general's office and the state insurance commission and gone from there.

This is so wrong....There must be a lawyer or state attorney to help....Who am I kidding. I am so sorry this should never have happened to you. Why was this company not fined, not run out of business......a company like this, if it is protected with individual rights by our courts should be also punished as a thief or murder that it is, starting with The CEO, CFO and all stockholders.
