My picks, in order from favorite to least favorite (with explanations):

Pinstripe - Nice and focused but without removing too much body from the drum

Ambassador - Sounds very natural and with a bit of damping and EQ would sound awesome

Powerstroke 3 - Sounds okay, but too focused, like a kick drum with not enough low end

DW head - Way too ringy and full of overtones

I'd love to get one of these just to have one, but I don't think I could find a use for it in my playing, lol. Awesome drum!

the power stroke is the best for me so tight with punch !

I love the sound of your snare, how did you get it to sound that deep? For head selection i would go with the Samsung, i liked the way that head sounded a lot better plus that head will allow you to view movies while you drum. I think your idea for a time traveling drum stick is amazing..the fact that i could go back in time right before that freeze up or when i hit the rim during the fill. keep the videos coming Will!

the ambassador for open explosive sound, power stroke 3 not for gong but for bass drum, dw coated clear fail cause that ding high tone for a big fat drume, pinstripe for 2nd alternative sound floor tom of 16 or 18 inches
