@atidback hi can you pls tell me what programming language did you use in this project?
-
This is what they need for the new tablet PCs. Dragging greasy fingers across the screen is silly when you can just point in space with this system.

to sevntl,
1. You are replying to a four month old post.
2. Your last sentence is one of the most awkward pieces of literature I have ever read, clearly a failed attempt to appear intelligent through excessive use of uncommon vocabulary.
3. Your failure to grasp figures of speech is "indicative of your level of cognition". I was merely commenting on how common these stupid posts are, authoritatively declaring things fake. All you've done with that reply is made an even bigger fool of yourself.

to TazG2000, 1. I'm not an expert at ANYTHING, I did study diversionary tactics, and did you really see me call EVERYTHING fake. Did you see ANY other post of mine calling Anything FAKE. Don't get it twisted with imbecilic assumptions and assertions presented without any basis of facts, to do so is indicative of your capacity of intelligence or your level of cognition.

Haha, lol, there is a program called VisualMouse, though not as good as this, VisualMouse uses head gestures.
-
His right hand is resting on the very bottom of the keyboard, he has no way of controlling the mouse that way with his right hand. Hes going slow so the program doesn't loose track of his hand.

good stuff!! could i have the source code plz?

Oh look, another expert parading around youtube calling everything fake.
Sorry guys for not getting back to you earlier. I just forgot checking this page. Anyway, here is a little explanation about this project. I have used dark background and a dark shirt so that my hand is easily distinguishable. Then I used PCA to model different hand shapes and a state machine to recognise the movements. It was just a simple project I developed with the stuff I had learned in my first year of research at DCU. I don't think I have a copy of the source code with me.

What's the name of the software that you use to do this?

It's not a commercial software. It's a gesture recognition research project.
