  • very nice, I always wanted to drive an rc boat next to ours and even speed ahead, how long can you run it at that speed before your tank is empty? How stable is this boat in choppy water? campered to the hammer?

  • Thx. I don't know how long I can run it exactly. But I think at full throttle about 10-15 minutes. Also depends on what tank, fuel and setting you use. Boat is not really stable in choppy water, tends to flip over when you hit waves at max speed. I don't know anything about the hammer.

  • Quick question? I am debating between the Miss Vegas and Top Speed, although I like how the outboard engine looks like, it seems more practical and reliable. Do they breakdown a lot? You have any tips, things you could share about the TS2? Good video by the way A ++!

  • I'd never had any problems with this engine. It even went under water when i hit a big wave and then it stopped running. But after some drying and cleaning it worked again. I can recommend this engine. Fine tuning can be difficult and takes time.

  • how fast is it going? like 54 or something

  • Hi. The boat from which it is filmed was going around 38 km/h. As you can see the Topspeed 2 is going a bit faster, around 42 km/h is guess.

  • @peterm8133 2300kv plus or minus a couple hundred, manufacturer is up to you

  • @JoeR126 how much mph

  • hi would anyone be able to advise me on a good motor to run 3 cell in a 26" hydro i have an 80 amp esc

  • IT could run faster. It is running very wet

  • it says topspeed: 2

    he he.

  • I guess it is just a matter of opinion, I've had 2 V Hulls myself and there is no doubt the cat outperformed those but angles and designs come into play, I originally did have problems with cat spinning out and flipping on the corners, but I raised the prop somewhat and fitted turn fins and its performs quite good now, I just have to watch out on windy days going into the wind, at high speed can sometimes catch under the boat and make it flip.

  • its almost a matter of opinion, v hulls can have different angles, the deeper the v the better it will handle the chop but then you have more drag which is where a cat wil out preform it but then going back to the v hull, it will likely be able to handle a little better in the corners

  • V hulls are not that great, catamarang style are great for rough water. I have a electric boat running a 3.5 turn brushless and with 2 11.1V lipo's its been clocked at 140kms per hour. Can go quicker but start having problems keeping it cool
