As Eurovision 2010 season is well underway, and the Irish selection is being deliberated, here is a reminder of our 'Ireland Eurovision 2009' song we submitted to RTE and posted to YouTube in February last year. The original video got over 25,000 views here, and got us quite a bit of support from people around Europe who thought it merited a place in the Irish Eurosong final.
The one problem with that video is that it started off with around 80 seconds of promotional crap before it gets to the song. I always intended to upload a clean version that just contains the song itself with no annoying bullshit at the start. So here it is... better late than never!!!
(This song was entered for Eurosong 2007, Eurosong 2008, and Eurosong 2009, but was overlooked each time :( It is now ineligible for entry because of the massive exposure it's gained online. But we don't mind too much, as we have plenty of other songs ready and waiting for submission in future years :) The future is bright, the future is L'aisleage-shade!!!)
Go h-álainn!
Go minic!
Go Lamph!

@Miljan17 Reentering is impossible, because now it is made officially public. There is a rule that the songs must kept secret till October 1st in the year before each contest.

This song is great........... shame we did not have the chance to see it on Eurovision. Personally, when my country hosted ESC in 2008 in Belgrade, I was surprised how bad Ireland representatives were........ But this is one hell of a song, U should reenter it someday.

Lamph. This rocks and is one of my favourite of your songs. Shame on RTE for not selecting this for any of the three finals you submitted it for. They prefer sending puppets nobody outside of Eire has ever heard of or 1983 style rock girl bands. Good luck with your 2010 entry whichever one you selected.
