  • Good greif, who in their right mind would want them worn out, old junk tunnel motors. There is a reason UP got rid of them in favor of more efficient locomotives.

  • Those 2 Tunnel motors are former DRGW units. I can tell by the shorter fuel tank and the MARS light removed from the short hood. Great video.

  • Nice TUNNELMOTOR

  • like the Tunnel Motors!

  • that P3 reminds me of an old SP kodachrome.

  • That engineer did a lousy job blowing the horn for that crossing.

  • wow pretty old cast P3 on that lead unit!

  • i saw this train today going thru the crescent hill area and i didnt have my camera with me (dang). that is the first ive ever seen that rr company. are they new?

all red engines, and i think about 25 to 30 sand cars all rj corman red (go cards)

where did they originate from? i ask because i worked for nugent sand about 17 years ago and i dont remember seeing that rr company.

  • This sand train must not go very far. Deadheaded to Lexington than what? Most trains with big loads go to other states or yet other countries.

  • nice catch!
