Tutorial of my guitar rendition of prototype.

For her inspiring vid and her chord work, I just reworked it a bit. Just wanted to drop her some credit.

Also shoutout to the online tabs, incorporated those also.

  • Good job Lee you helped me a lot hope to see some more tutorials.

  • @Oba65 Glad to hear; haven't been playing much lately. The next tutorial should be much better. Just need to learn some new material first.

  • Good job on the tutorial. Keep it up. I used to play this song alot when it first came out. I was fortunate to have a freind who was a jazz major and taught me the chords like this (if my memory serves me correctly) : [1st chord] x.5.7.6.7.0 [2nd Chord] 5.x.4.6.0.0 [3rd] x.5.0.5.6.0 [4th] 5.x.55.x.x or 5.x.5.5.5.x. These chords voicings give it more of an open feel by allowing the open e, on the 6th string, to continuously ring out. I think its pretyy close to the original chord voicing.

  • I swear some of these people providing tutorials don't have a fucking ear this fucker included. Here are the chords for the song which will sound just like on the record.

    x57670, x02120, xx0560, x07500, enjoy everyone.

  • Aye bro, I like the way you taught this song but u three me off on the part where you got confused. Can you redo this vid and actually show how you place each finger for each chord? I can't see your fingers on certain parts

  • Nice man

  • hey dude, i'm a little confused, because on the 4th chord on the record, there is a note clash and i can't figure it out :S

  • I agree with the lead that you played in the beginning. In that lead, you only have to pluck the 5th string down on the 3rd fret, then hammer the 5th string down on the 5th fret and pluck again on the the same string, 3rd fret again.

I know a much easier way to play the chords too.

Place your fingers(doesn't matter which two fingers you use) on the 3rd and 4th strings on the 4th fret and then play the same sequence but this time bring those two fingers up one fret. That's it!

  • KOOL " LIL BROTHER!!

  • @theynvme417

yeah i know those hammer ons and pull offs

    im just sayin
