  • Ballet would be so boring if everybody would do the role the same way. Every dancer must bring his own individuality to the role. This is what sets them apart. Alina is too perfect to not dance this just because someone says she doesen;t dance like the other ballerinas. And I think that we should not forget the effort a dancer puts into doing a choreography. I appreciate her for the huge work she does in ballet classes to dance so perfect.

  • I love both Zakharova and Cojocaru! SK brings more flashy zest and AC brings more joy and girlishness, ease, and natural charm.

But I have to say, AC makes me cry. She is so much the perfect little ballerina! I just gotta meet her! She seems like she has such a kind soul!

  • Alina is lovely in this pdd. I think she comes close to Osipova in technique. Her interpretation is different, not as fierce, I agree, but charming and girlish, quite acceptable. She's a joy to watch!

  • There's people who say that Cojocaru is no Kitri, unlike Osipova. I disagree. It's a role, and it can be interpreted in different ways. Just think of Baryshinikov's and Nureyev's Albrechts in Giselle: so different, and both fantastic! Ospiova's Kitri is fierce, loud, brave and sometimes a bit aggressive - and extremely good. Cojocaru's Kitri is girlish, playful and flirtateous, but I love that interpretation, too. I would find it regrettable indeed if all Kitri interpretations were the same.

  • yeahh the fouettes are just the number they should be. but her fouettes go slower than the music.

  • somewhere i read "alina is the perfect giselle, sleeping beauty and cinderella ". and i absolutely agree - she's so graceful little innocent girl. but she has neither vividness nor exuberance for roles like kitri or odille. i adore her as giselle. she's the best giselle i've ever seen, but i feel dissapointed of this video. many primaballerinas try to act every possible role while they are on the top of their carriers, but it's just impossible to have all in their caracters.

  • Eles são maravilhosos!!!!!

  • It was just BEAUTIFUL! i love the music and their dancing! how do you strengthen your back in arabesque to make it look nice and straight like that

    AMAZING LIFT
