Minecraft 1.9 PR2 - Super Simple Blaze Farm / The 1st EXP farm - Works on 1.0

Build it in minutes, get enough rods to build a fence:)
Note: The hit boxes seem to be different on SMP, if you have problems hitting the mobs with a sword replace the fence with normal blocks or hit them from a different angle.

I tried to set up a farm like this in 1.9 PR3 and ... blazes seem to spawn up to 4 blocks away from the spawner, bypassing walls... well I just have to adapt the design and fill all the air blocks outside of the walls with more solid blocks, but just so you know :)

@Zebix If you notice at 0:40 I have placed 5 glass blocks at each side of the spawner, the only empty spaces in this 11x11 area are those at each side of the door and the one I am walking in. The rest are all filled with glass. I just tried this farm in pre release 4 and works like a charm

you can not put the water except by coding the Nether

@hotbop9 In beta 1.9 prerelease 5, a tool with the silk touch enchantment could be used to collect ice and bring it to the nether, although it no longer works in 1.0/1.1.

But judging from the fact that this was recorded during prerelease 2 and that Mind_Trap has a water block in his inventory, he most likely spawned the water with a mod.
