  • im going to acadia next year...is it nice there?

  • @felitzia222 I thought the campus was beautiful and there was a really nice atmosphere. All of the students and teachers I met were really friendly. The town had a great vibe too - lots of stuff going on. I'd love to go and visit!

  • Hey thanks for commenting! I think you're the first local person to comment :) Nice friend to have ... do you get free cider?

  • Years ago, when the city fathers declared that apple cider could have no alcohol in it, the citizens rose up and in an act of angry defiance, declared that henceforth, a six-pack of beer would have 8 cans, just to show city hall that they would not be pushed around. Of course, I just made that up, but still, it's a pretty good story, isn't it?

  • I was going to comment that Nova Scotia seems to have a strong Scottish influence ... and then I realized "Nova Scotia" = New Scotland.
