Overall, this video seems like an excellent preventative approach to problems in the classroom. At the start of the school year, students are taught the classroom expectations. The most valuable piece of information from this video is that the teacher is the role model for appropriate academic behavior.

I like that this is a preventive approach. Teaching the students the expectations of the classroom at the beginning of the year is much easier than fixing problems later in the year. This also makes a good point that teachers need to teach students how to be students, they don't know what is acceptable at school and it is the teacher's job to teach and model school behaviors.
