http://www.TheGabrielMethod.com - Jon lost an amazing 226lbs without diet or surgery. The before and after pictures you've seen are real, untouched photos of Jon's personal transformation.

In 2001 Jon Gabriel weighed 409 lbs. He'd tried almost every popular diet available without success. Not only did he fail to lose weight—he was steadily gaining. Overweight, overworked and unhappy, Jon was ready to give up.

Then on September 11th 2001, Jon received a wake-up call. He was scheduled to fly from Newark to San Francisco that day and it was only by chance that he was not on the United Airlines Flight 93 that was hijacked by terrorists and crashed in Pennsylvania with no survivors.

Jon realized that life was a precious opportunity not to be wasted. He realized that his weight would eventually kill him and decided to do something about it. Over the next two and a half years, Jon lost over 100 kilos without dieting, pills or surgery. He also stopped feeling stressed and overworked and started living the life of his dreams.

  • another one spreading misinformation that insulin makes you fat. Is insulin making your fat or is it insulin resistance? It can't be both if you follow any logic. Isn't insulin counter ballanced by all the actual fat making hormones like glucocorticoids ? Isn't insulin necessary for protein synthesis and thus for anabolic processes?

  • Very interesting explanation of how body reacts when blood sugar is down and insuline high. In fact I know people with this disease and actually they need to eat at certain hours and be careful with the portions. For those physicians interested in this disease there is more useful information at Symposier site.

  • Just one friendly correction: the suffix "-emia" means "in the blood", not a condition/pathology per se.

Apart from that, excellent information. I'm so happy you're getting out there (and on here) and educating people. Keep it up! :)
