  • how far are you shooting? and how in the world are you letting that slide slam home? Mines as tight as a tire lug that went through a whole year of winter salt!

  • @R5H4D0W In this video I was only about 6 yards out.LOL my slide release is very easy to use, dont know why yours is so tight...Maybe I got lucky?? LOL wish I could help more :)

  • Loved your succcess with shooting the PF-9 , maybe a backstop would make your neighbors a little safer , ....keep up the practicing it is fun....DennyRec probably had a limp wrist or or just got a lemon....I buy from Davidsons to get the 2 lifetime warranties.

    for repair or total replacement.

  • @Meyendor1 Neighbors??? What are those LOL

  • I loved your review and the field strip of the gun. I just got one 30 min ago and I wanted to see if this was worth the buy. Great job on the video!

  • @TOPHYDRO Thank you :)

  • For being ammohead, ur shooting isnt very smart...U have no idea how far those rounds are going or whats behind there in the woods. Not good man.

  • @R5H4D0W He must have modified the slide release, The PF-9 that lever is not slide release technically. Its only a hold straight from factory.

  • @BRIGGS6951 Google Keltec PF-9 fluff and buff. The reason they're so cheap is because that work was not done at the factory post manufacture. THEN proceed to shoot several hundred rounds out of it to break it in, if you still have problems, your vice is limp ;)

  • @R5H4D0W You can take down the pistol and with some 800 grit wet dry sand paper used for sanding a cars clear coat proceed to remove a little of the metal where the slide release catches on the SLIDE. Just remove a tiny bit rounding it out so little you can't even notice it with your eye. Proceed to do this until your slide release functions more smoothly. Google fluff and buff keltec pf-9

  • It's not a "slide release." It's a slide stop which is mandatory for the take down of any pistol. Using it as a release will eventually wear the two components to the point that the slide will not lock back on the last shot. To my knowledge there is only ONE gun that the slide lock is also used as a release..that is the Ruger 22/45. Right or wrong??

  • this is my daily vest gun. i love it. not too accurate, but i guess its not meant to be used more than 10 yards.

  • That is the BEST 9mm ammunition ! RWS is great stuff !

  • great back up hider pistol.

  • I carry this same gun. I really like it. Cool vid man!

  • Funny looks like where your shooting is the road. Neighbors must love you.

  • You almost have me sold, now to see if the wife likes it??

  • My 2 PF9's would not shoot more than 3 mags with out a problem . Even in a vise no limp wristing . Do not buy one

  • @R5H4D0W Mine too!!! I even tried putting a generous amount of oil on it, and it's STILL super sticky. bummer huh

  • What about saftey no back stop very daft!!

  • Once you said the ammo was made in Swissland I immediately thought, 'well duh, no wonder it's good.' lol Nice video, I too was a little worried about the lack of a back drop but then I saw the 'Neighbors? What are those?' comment you left so I figure its good. Thanks for the great review, and I love the fact that you actually put all the rounds through it so we could see there were no malfunctions.

  • @Warpath2198 Bad shooters, cheap ammo & no break in. I've had mine for a year with no issues.

  • @reynosamanA3 2 in the box

  • @R5H4D0W Company webpage sells the add on extension for the mag.

  • @EBBadd1 $250 to $300

  • Kel-Tec is made Cocoa Fl. right? What is a fare price for me to pay for this very model?I don't feel like getting the shaft.

  • @shawnsent Its rated +P, but not meant for clip after clip after clip :)

Remember, its a SD gun, not a range gun =P

  • @threelittleniglets ehh... except P11s, really poor trigger. Other than that its a true statement

  • @JuniorInEville24 I've shot 100 rounds through mine with zero problems outside human error. Other than ones from limp-wristing, no ftf/fte to report. Only ammo used was AE 115gr FMJ

  • @reynosamanA3 one, I picked up a second 6-rounder on my way out. Have my eyes open for an elusive 9-rounder the company just came out with

  • @R5H4D0W Mine is very tight too. I believe its going to be a "break in" issue. Kel Tec's are notorious for issues during the first 100 rounds or so. What makes it really difficult to release is being left handed! o_O
