80% of the time its the ballast, quickest way to figure it out is swap bulbs side to side and if the one from the other side does it, you have narrowed it down to the monkey proof installation or the ballast, look at the connection to see you got a good ground and power and you narrow it down further to the ballast
Just in case someone runs accross this problem, although I read that you have already determined its your ballast!!

If you have runing lights meaning that when you put your car in gear they automaticaly turn on you need a relay that convers the volts so they will be lowerd for the runing lamp that's why b4 you turn your headlights on they are not as bright hope this helped

Yep - Xentec HID kits are junk! See my video. I just replaced them with TRUSS HID's and am very satisfied!! Truss Video coming soon to show that there's no comparison!
my hids use to flicker and turn off on right side.i installed a relay after that works perfect.

@MASISUSA1993 I didn't need a relay on mine. Just needed a new ballast.

i found the track onthe youtube database, i searched for 'mute'.
not sure about the brand, its off ebay.

the problem was a bad ballast! replaced it with a new one and it all works fine now.
