@EasyCompanyAirborne I know its fashionable to rewrite history these days but claiming the US was fighting WW2 two years before war broke out seems carrying it a little far somehow.

@EasyCompanyAirborne Are you thick or just plain stupid. No matter how you look at it England did not think or act independently from Britain in the last century. So to say the English deserted the Australians is about as far from the truth as you can get so shut up and stop talking shit

@ramaslama You are quite wrong. That is the case now. The term British varies throughout history. That is why English is the correct term. That doesn't change.

Yes the Brits got defeated at Singapore and we lost ships. i had hoped I wouldn't have to give you a lecture about running away in Vietnam. With all the American firepower you still had to leave in a hurry. shame

@ramaslama Yeh sure. The Americans were protecting the Philippines and China in 1937, when WW2 started. The English did nothing. They were finally attacked in Singapore in 1941. The English navy ran away, leaving the Americans and Australians to face the Japanese. The Americans did the job protecting the English colonies like Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa. The English cut and run. That is what they do.

@ramaslama Wrong. America was fighting WW2 from 1937 onwards. What was England doing in 1937? Nothing. Just persecuting the Spaniards.
