Also Radio 1 hate them, so they never got any airplay. Should have been Massive, will always be massive to me.

@therealpsp1mp I mean, why haven't the Wildhearts received the success and kudos they so richly deserve?
I've been into the Wildhearts since I saw them as support for Alice in Chains in '93, seen them at least once every year since (when they've been together and gigging) and can say hand on heart that they are my all time (so far) favourite band. They're a unique monster, hard to categorise, and that's their appeal - and maybe the reason they've not had the commercial success?

@Totalthirteen the recognition exists, but only in the uk, and on a small scale. most underground magazines always talk about them, especially when they release an album. never had a bad review, nothing, always get praise and packed venues. they are mainly influenced by older underground bands. fugazi, big black, cheap trick *terribly underrated*, so its only in nature that they wont receive the credit they rightly deserve from the perspective of an avid and interesting music enthusiast. :P
