ACTUALLY, symphony music was introduced by his guru "music maestro illaiyaraja"
SIR ILLAIYARAJA was first indian who have knowledge and degree in western classical music, he is also the first indian who used symphony music in india later it was folllowed by a r rahman in both terms(western classical music & symphony music)
