  • ACCORDING TO THE QURAN THERE IS A PLACE WHERE THE SUN SETS AND RISES AS IF THE EARTH WAS FLAT, 18:83-90

They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain...We gave him the ways and the means to all ends. One (such) way he followed, until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! ...Then followed he (another) way, until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom.....

  • @DictaduraNo123

"he found it set in a spring of murky water" means he saw the sun according to his vision setting in the ocean and this is the same with everyone ending to the shore seeing as if the sun sets inside it (i.e. the ocean).

    (Ibn Kathir, Tafsir-ul-Qur'ân Al-'Azim, Volume 5, page 120. Published by Maktabat-ul-Iman, Mansoura,Egypt)

I believe this is adequate to refute the missionaries' imposed interpretation. And to Allah is the Judgement in all affairs.

  • @DictaduraNo123 What narrators and story tellers say about that he walked for a period of time in earth while the sun was setting behind him is unreal, and most of it is from myths of People of the Book and inventions of their liars.

  • @DictaduraNo123

Imam Ibn Kathir states (One of the main commentators of Qur'an), "Until, when he reached the setting of the sun" means he followed a certain way till he reached the furthest land he could go from the west. As for reaching the setting of the sun in the sky, it is impossible.

  • @DictaduraNo123

Before i begin, I would like to state that every so called "error" in the Qur'an has already been refuted. So accept Islam as your way of life.

  • @FoAllah ""he found it set in a spring of murky water" means he saw the sun according to his vision setting in the ocean and this is the same with everyone ending to the shore seeing as if the sun sets inside it (i.e. the ocean)."

Thats a poor argument since Qur'an is written in this manner, it always refer to a person in 3rd person before stating something: "Mohamed recited the verse" There is no indication of that what you argue in the verse, this is why it was taken literally by early scholar

  • @kingbeatsoz Its far from being egg shaped, it precisely and oblate spheroid do to Centrifugal force. So after this linguistic acrobatics and after knowing the actual fact from modern science and Greeks experiment almost 1000 years before quran, your holly book with its divine information is at best INACCURATE. :D

  • @DictaduraNo123 Qu'ran ch.79 v.30:"There after we(Allah) made the earth egg shaped" as we come to know now, the world is not entirely sphereical, if you didnt know that you can do some research.

  • @halakukhan - Actually it was called The Quran and Modern Science....But I've read lots of books, including the Quran.

  • @halakukhan - Please, if you can't spell, don't rant. It makes you appear simple...It's a well known fact Keith Moore and Maurice Bucaille were paid very well by the Saudi King to write their books on Science in the Qur'an. Bucaille was King Faisal's family physician...You can google it...I'm not a Christian (or a Christine). I'm an atheist, but check the facts rather then having a hissy fit...It makes you look stupid.

  • @rogan71 and the Title of Dr.Maurice Bucaille's book is "The Bible,The Qur'an and Science" not science and Quran if you really would have read that book you should've know the TITLE at least.....

  • @rogan71 you are so dumb and filthy lair...what evidence you have that all these scientist were Saudi pay roll? 2nd its another lie by Christine missionaries that Keith Moore said he was taken out of context, if you have just small part of brain still working you wouldn't mentioned it but u r blinded by the hate, watch the video and tell me how can this be put out of context, u r claims came straight from the mouth of missionaries and you telling me that u r not Christine?fuck off

  • @halakukhan - Does it not strike you as odd - The only non-believing scientists to find anything remotely interesting in the Quran are all on the Saudi payroll? None converted to Islam and none have since backed up their statements - Keith Moore has allegedly claimed he was taken put of context....I read Bucaille's Science and the Quran, and thought it was a complete con.
