I've never gone to church unless I had to because of the social rituals from the bronze-age that some people deem unacceptable to miss out on if they involve family\friends. I don't like the concept of a supernatural being somehow being the focal point of people's grandest days like marriage, naming, death and so on. Even after death, people are buried underneath a symbol of oppression indefinitely. I would never want to be associated with that.
You pose a very good question - What would christianity be without the church?
Do you know the answer to this question? Have you ever wondered what it might be like to be truly free? You will never know until you come out of her.
Thanks Father Steve. I know I go to church on Sundays because its a joyful place with people who know me and have known me since I was a baby. When we say the peace it takes about 10 minutes, we pour out into the aisle hugging each other. And we do so much good at a group - soup kitchen, homeless shelter and free clinic... not to mention our other mission work.. It's a great place to go.

The bible is a fraudulent attempt to manipulate your thinking, subvert your will, cripple your reason, and enslave your mind mind.

Because church need money. And that's our tradition to spend time and money on that.
Doesn't it feels like we are living in modern age and doing some kind of stuff from barbarian age?

Christians, Real one's go to worship God. We go for Him, He doesn't need us. He wants us.
