Yes, you would be well advised to get some education on the industry before going after more interviews. You want to ace any opportunities that come up so you want to be fully prepared. Clint

Clint, I recently am a college grad and was hired as a sales rep, not as a pharmaceutical sales rep though. However, I did interview for a pharma sales rep position did absolutely terrible. I think I will purchase your book sometime in the near future because my bachelor degree is in biol and it is my dream job to be an outside pharma sales rep.

Different companies go in cycles. New product launches usually result in new hires. If companies get products genericized without any new drugs available, there could be issues. But for anybody getting into the industry, anytime is a good to make contacts so when there are hirings, you will be right there. I outline various strategies in my book on this. See the website for more details. The book is primarily aimed at getting into pharma sales.
