  • @jazz4asahel The year 1983 is not way ahead of Jaco's time, its actually very much contemporary to Jaco.

  • I just heard at 2:27 what is the bassist being way ahead of the time of Jaco Pastorius. Hear the harmonics? A bit later he does it more. This bassist is sensitive and innovative. Lyrical. These four knock me out more as I listen repeatedly for the minute details. Luscious!
