@MuthaEffinNickle They still shouldn't have a problem clapping in 7/4 if they are clapping on the crotechets which they were. Now 7/8 is where they would hit a problem! :p

@TheNonane I don't think this is a capo. I don't know what it is called, but it's like an elastic band which mutes the strings to avoid unwanted sounds from them. It's not pressing the strings all the way down like a capo.
