The Airport Extreme features simultaneous dual bands in the 2.4 and 5 GHz spectrum. Also features tight integration with MobileMe. This is also a follow up to my Linksys WRT610n review. MSRP $179

  • how does this work with an xbox 360???? I also have 2 macbook's and a windows desktop. Currently have a linksys wrt54G. IS this worth IT??? my linksys has to be rest like 10 times a day, its really annoying

  • I am going to college and moving to an apartment of my own and I am worried that I may have slow internet being provided in the apartment complex. Should I buy this product? Also, does it work with non-apple products? Does it still work if I don't have an ethernet cable connected to it?

  • @Dacpboys considering I have Airport Extreme and I'm using my PC right now to anwser your question, YES

  • @3ponyrider so it works with pc??

  • @MrHJPlayer Absolutely, I upgrade from a wrt54g to an airport extreme and its totally worth the cost, very, reliable.

  • @JulianLondono9 yeah I would say its worth it. My whole house LOVES this router. It can work with non-apple products, I use my PC with it all the time

  • i think I'm getting this tonight

  • Also what if I have my Ethernet cable from imac to modem but also have this running for my iphone and printer? do they interfere?

  • I got a question, 5Ghz, can I do everything I do with 2.4?

  • @joeallev1 Yes, I just did it last week, although with a time capsule. I DID have to work with applecare and with verizon, in order to make it happen. The 5ghz signal is way better than the fios actiontec.

  • can this replace my actiontek router on FIOS? I hate my router and really want to get this one.
