Hybrid-udgaven af Cadillac Escalade kommer på markedet sommer 2008. Den nuværende model med 6,2 liters V8-benziner kører 6,2 km/l i EU-snit, og hybriden skulle bruge 45 pct. mindre brændstof, dvs. et snitforbrug på op mod 9,0 km/l. Escalade Hybrid kommer ikke under en køreklar vægt på 3,0 ton, så 9 km/l lyder som fri fantasi.

It is not as powerful as 6.2L V8 version, total power is 369 horsepower and 380 pounds-feet of torque, vs. the 403 hp at 5,700 rpm and 417 lb-ft at 4,300 rpm for the regular 2009 Cadillac Escalade. rangerover06sc is correct

The Hybrid uses exactly 40% less gas than the 6.2L V8 for the city driving

no not really the version hybrid gets 20/19mph,and the vergular version gets12/19 which isn't really an improvement on the highway

not true, it improved on gas milage 50% for city and 33% percent for highway

Dude! Its just a fancy version of the Tahoe. Now they add Hybrid to it too and charge twice as much for the hybrid option.
