The Infamous Dan Deacon Interview

Dan Deacon's people had been hounding us to interview him for weeks, and we eventually acquiesced. At that time, we had NO IDEA about Mr. Deacon's negative feelings towards cats. (How could we? He has a song called "Crystal Cat.") Had we known about his hatred in advance, we never would have gone forward with this interview. American Friendship takes journalistic standards very seriously. We are now working with an outside company who will perform background checks on all our interviewees to ensure that their appreciation for cats is good and true. You deserve that.
