Adventures of Tenali Raman

It takes a trip through history to a world of monarchs and palaces. Based on the character from Indian folklore Tenali, the Kings favorite courtier finds his popularity bringing him many enemies, however like all heroes Tenali battles back and triumphs with wit and charm over his adversaries. It has 26 episodes of 11 minute each released on December 2002. The series was premiered in Cartoon Network in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 2003

No, it never came in the US. It was on Cartoon Net and Nickelodeon Asia and India.

We could have done a Season two, but the studio execs couldnt get it together!

I remember when Dan McHale wrote it! He used to walk around Trivandrum with a hand held min-cassete tape recorder making up songs!

He was director of a few episodes, music composer AND the voice of Rajguru...
