And thanks for your feedback about the mix. The sound in the room was VERY different from what I heard on playback, and I fiddled with the mix for about an hour...

Both sides of my Stick are compressed, AND I'll turn down the bass side in future recordings. (I play in stereo through a POD X3 Live.)

Could you tell me what kind of effects you have on each "side" of your stick? I've been listening to a lot of NS stick recordings and although I like the bass sound on them, they also don't sound quite as full as the tone you are getting. I don't mean to keep bugging you.

Actually, I'm listening to this now through headphones and the balance is just right, so go figure.

Great performance! It is no question that you are a stellar musician. I wish I could hear the upper chords more clearly/consistently because they sound great when I can hear them. I wonder if adding some compression to a tad more volume might help the chords come through better. (This is just my idea).
