  • i have restored my mac full and install it back becouse my screeen was black when i changed the screensize what need i do? plzzz comment back!

  • @Ihakey boot in sage mode, or with "GraphicsMode"="1680x1050@32" change the 1680x1050 to your original resolution, and turn your original screen res back in systempreferences, Quotes ("") are important, type them also in chameleon

  • ok i have followed your guidence step by step and nothing changes. been playing around with switch res and that doesnt change anything either. im thinking it has to written in the boot setup, how can i disable it loading up the default video settings.

    any help really apreciated on this, spent hours and hours tring to find a solution, and none of the kexts i have found worked so far.

  • All I had to do was reinstall Snow Leopard and update that to Lion. Now I was able to set it to 1600x1200.
