Final Fantasy VII Ruby Weapon Dead Cloud Solo!

Me doing Ruby Weapon solo with Cloud! I also don't use any cheap Knights of the Round Miming like a lot of other people do to cheaply kill him.

The strategy is basic, but effective. Basically you have to keep feeding Cloud Hero Drinks (they raise your stats by a lot for one fight) while you continue to counter-attack after he has hit you.

You have to worry about the Tentacles, they can do some serious damage. One can hit you for about 9000 damage and the other can take away about 500 magic points. Make sure to Quadcast Cure 3 on yourself when you take a lot of damage. Your counterattacks will probably do the most amount of damage in this fight.

Strangley, Omnislash does not do that much damage to him, and the normal attacks are much better.

Dead in about 7 minutes!

My strategy for Ruby Weapon was juicing up my summons. So I mastered about 3-4 Knights of the Round so I can Attach MP Absorb/Turbo and HP Absorb to them so I wouldn't run out of mana and waste turns using Ether. Master Summon is great but you can't duplicate it and add more attributes to the summons!

Why I cant touch the weapon,I do the same as you and always when I counter attack it says Miss,1500,Miss,Miss,Miss,1500,­Miss.....I already killed Emerald

and you can beat it easely with knight of round-mp turbo final attack-life2 counter-mime really quick... that worked for me on lower level..

@StainIessChina The entire time that I fought Ruby Weapon even if he got to cast Ultima it never came close to killing me. With all of the summon materia and items my magic resist was really high.

But with the maxed HP Absorb attached to Knights of the Round it will just bring you back to full health when its finished.

@jearegood Actually, it's been a while since I played it, I forget if Knights of the Rounds makes it counter with Quicksand or Ultima, but I know it's one of those, and I know it's avoidable if you use BahamutZERO instead.

@jearegood But Knights of the Round just makes it counter with quicksand, if you want to keep all of your characters in the battle, then BahamutZERO is a better strategy.
