@TheHeartOfTheLion I'm in the same boat. I didn't really get it when it was on TV, but I still enjoyed how stylistic it was. It probably didn't hurt that I was SUPER into comic books at the time. Coming back to The Maxx now, after years of watching mind-bending stuff like Evangelion, I think my brain has been trained to understand it a bit better. I believe that I like it even better now than I did then.
