CMS Door Decoration

"We put the SEA in UNCW"

Center for Marine Science employees are proud of their work as well as the facility. CMS staff and faculty work as a team to preserve and protect our environment locally and globally. We all enjoy a nice walk down our pier to enjoy the sun, wildlife and view. This door decoration is a representation of a walk down the CMS pier, through the marsh, past the heron and ibis, to the intracoastal waterway where the R/V Cape Fear is docked. The beauty of our facility helps us stay inspired and enthusiastic about the work we do here as a team. It is this teamwork that helps us collectively put the "sea" in UNCW.
