I have three problems with this show so far. Maybe because I think of Chris as Yul Brynner, but this Chris seems like a bad actor. Maybe he isn't, but he is no Yul Brynner. The second if the fights. In the movie, the seven were all fast on the draw and crack shots. These guys; we've seen some marksmanship, but also some bad shooting and they're slow. The last this is the hats; this is just me, but I hate those hats with the string. That's it; I love everything else about this show so far.

@Colton8646 True, but keep in mind that if this show was historically accurate, they would use pistols on snakes and rifles to fight. None of them would be that clean, and the only reason they would not die of disease a few years past their current age is because there is no way in Hell that seven men would be able to fend off twenty let alone thirty bad guys. Hell, in half the real gun fights, both men died. Odds are, seven men would be able to kill seven bad guys. That doesn't make good TV.

@bugeyedmonster2 Actually, best part is /many/ lines in this show were improvised. So there's a teeny chance that wasn't even scripted.

Only reason why I dislike parts of this series is that it tries to make out "the Union were heroes" the Confederacy were evil and the "Civil War was about slavery". When in reality none of that was true.

dale midkiff's an awesome actor. I still say he would've been great as Rosco in the 2005 or 2007 dukes of hazzard movie.
