@charles12062 what country osha operate in?
-
Not only is this unsafe but it's inefficient, why is he bailing dirt behind him if that's the direction of the pipe? There's no money in digging the same dirt twice!
-
This contractor ought to be in jail for having this kid down in this hole that's not braced up. It should be cut a 3 to 1 slope or supported. I've watched someone suffocated when a trench caved in. We couldn't save him . We were digging franticly ;but could only watch horrified as he smother under the weight of tons of earth. It happens all the time. A four foot deep hole can kill you. You guys are clowns.

no hard hat no ladder no box or shoring great place for OSHA to stop by
-
13 minutes and no pipe laid, no good mate need to work faster.
-
why no teeth in the bucket much easier on digger and operator with teeth then dig out last shift with blade on small bucket
-
@702jhall More surprising is the absence of trench wall supports.
-
In every video the earth is like sand,is all of Denmark made of such soft earth?
-
@702jhall Wearing a hard hat should be part of MINIMUM safety requirements.

Coole Maschine!!!!!!!!
Wow and no hard hat.

If e guy in the trech bends over and a clay dirt clod with is heavier than a plain dirt clod hits the guy in head it will hurt or knock him out very very un safe

@702jhall Why doo you think that a an slideing the shovel down by the sides????
It's too remove alle the loose dirt from the sides, soo there's nothing laying on the sides too hit him in the head.

1st of all it's clay dirt which drys out and spider cracks which is not a safe ditch. Plus the slopeing is un safe according to the OSHA standards. Horrible digging I fire people for that. I'm sorry but unsafe from any common sense competent person can see that with their eyes

@702jhall Well any competent operator, can also see if the dirt is stable or not.
That is hard clay, it won't dry up before, i have finished digging and back filling the trench.
Not every thing has too be, by the standart book too be safe, it is not forbiden too have a look, on the ground and see what you are diggin in, and make a jugdement by what you see.
