soem of this video makes em really sad.

the council doesn't respect the cities heritage and culture enough.

too preoccupied with keeping the town 'up-to-date' by building new things, rather than looking after the odler more itneresting buildings.

im only 19 years old and i prefer the older buildings to places such as 'the grande arcade' anyday.

so much more interesting & beautiful.

Can't help but think how much the town has gone downhill whilst trying to update itself. Everything now is plastic and tacky

completely messed that town up, like many northern places, so called 'improvements' were just back handers for the council

brilliant i can remember it all changing i was born in 61 so my hay day in wigan was the 80s blutoes etc loved it and this vid is brill i cant thank you enuff
