This is a tough one. My backround is a skimboarder turned bodysurfer turned bodyboarder turned longboarder turned SUP surfer. I give mad respect to these guys for charging hard. The only thing to me is right tool for right job. I feel like a certain type of wave and certain types of conditions warrant the use of a certain type of board. For examlpe I can ride a SUP but if I was at Sandys I would bodyboard and would not like to see a SUP out there. Just because u can doesnt mean u should.

They say it is not barreling but fail to mention how If they were on any other board or belly, those rights would have given them really clean tubes.

waves @ 1:06 was sick!

0:14 lol, the guy with no shirt looks like spencer from icarly

Board looked wrong for the conditions. Notice how hard to deal w bottom turn ? I do agree, harder for them to avoid hitting guys in a lineup once the drop started, so I would take it personally of either hit me on the drop or with a lost board. I do give them credit, just not the right place for Sup's in that croud!

Kooks. And btw no one wears a leash at wedge. No point
-
there is no point and you should not be allowed to SUP at the wedge. I would be pissed. Guarantee those boards hit people that day. Surfing wedge is dangerous enough
-
i did see people wearing a leash in this vid.
see that kid at the end scored himself a new surfboard though!
woohoo!

this SUPS are being thrown around by that wave, it looks like they weigh nothing!
