I grew up in a strict christian household where i was taught muslims were nothing but a manifestation of evil, bound to go to hell for their "radical" beliefs. But growing up iv looked into your Quran. Iv studied Islam's meaning, its values, background, and its origin. I regret all of the assumptions i made then. I dont waste my time trying to convince the ignorant either, life's too short. I just plan on raising my kids one day to be as open minded as i am now. We're all one under god anyway

@HowToBeTV Converting people to Islam by force or coercion is a crime, punishable by Islamic law. Muslims don't convert people or do missions like Christians. People will not truly believe if they are forced, and God makes that decision anyways. Allah makes Muslims or Christians or Jews. That is not in the Qur'an anywhere. If it is, then tell me where, if you have even read it?

@AlazarMarkose I grew up having great respect for Arab people and Persian people in particular. I was never aware of a negative undercurrent whatsoever. However, as I have studied more about Islam I have begun to understand what a terrible religion it is. Thank goodness most people under the Islamic jackboot have remained civilized and not become as its prophet. The Islamic scripture is the problem; it is a vile hateful ideology and no good can come of it.

@AlazarMarkose Of all the great world religions, Islam is alone in sanctioning and in some schools obligating, female genital mutilation. This practice has had no part whatsoever in the scriptures of any of the other, much older religions. In contrast, FGM is carried out by non-African Muslims in the name of Islam as far afield as Malaysia. Try, if you dare, to imagine what other kinds of horror that such a perverse, heinous crime shelters in its depravity.
