1956-57 Clinton Vintage Antique 3.6HP Gas Engine

Got a few old Simplicity rear engine riders in a deal with a dealership that closed it's doors and one of them is a 1957 (first year release) Simplicity Wonder-Boy. This is the original engine that came with that mower. View the video......it's pretty much self explanitory.

what you use as the engine degreeser?

@Tubajock2 Either Purple Power or Simple Green. They both do well. For real dirty engines I break out the power washer.

those clintons were sure a great quality engine. i think its a shame they went out of buisiness

No problem. Did you do any work to the wonder boy yet? Would you happen to have a carb for a 3.5hp briggs? I need one for a 1962 engine I am trying to get running. stupid gas leaks lol

Hey Nick! Checked that video, looks like a keeper! I had one identical to that one only it was made for the Montgomery Wards company. 5hp RER with the deck, but it's long gone now. Wish I had known. I could have gotten the deck for ya.
