I saw him play in Brighton last year and he was great. It wasn't the first time I had seen him. I managed to get to the Road to Hell tour three times and saw the concerts for Auberge and God's Great Banana Skin. RTH was a high production value job. This last one was more low key and none the worse for it. It was just so great to see him looking well and clearly enjoying himself. the only disappointing thing was such a brief appearance by his pink Stratocaster. It is quite old now.

No late-night talk show host did a better job of showcasing music artists than Arsenio Hall. He almost always had them perform two songs plus a lengthy sit-down interview. Today they're crammed into the last five minutes of the show and rarely interviewed. Props to Arsenio.
