Our small Organic Terrace Gardens (OTG)

We have got this garden done on our terrace in Bangalore, India by a professional company. They are damn expensive. We have replicated the same ourselves for 1/3rd of a cost. This garden along with the extension (250 Sq. Ft) gives 80% of the vegetables for 2 families of (4 adults and 2 kids). With the use of drip irrigation, maintenance is relatively less.

Perhaps that professional company might have charged more as they had to build the concept and implement. Once the concept it implemented, it certainly costs less to imitate OR copy, like what you have done, for the simple reason that you have not spent time and effort to build the working concept. I can still see the difference in the box size and finish, material used. Cool Gardener...

I think U have modeled UR terrace garden based on square foot gardening method, which is small but intensively planted and yield good crop. It is good to have a chance to eat fresh and healthy vegetables and leafy vegetables.
