@TheTramsen That's not true, a lot of MMA fighters train in Judo or BJJ (which is derived from Judo) to learn throwdowns and fighting on the floor.

@AmokBR no it is not. it would just not work towards an opponent with any experience from any martial art. against asshole jocks, bullies and drunks sure.

I used to think Judo would never work i na real fight because you'd get punched and kicked before you could use a throwdown, but in a real fight it's not like that at all. Most MMA fights end on the ground.

Yeah its really that great. Like i already knew how to kcik and punch probably and correctly and i'm so glad i found judo. Like the throws and everything is so awesome. Like a year ago i thought this was the most dangeous and toughest martial art in the world :P

Well i can see its been 4 months now but if your doing a comptition some time. Know all the rules! And try not to get a crapy ref :P I lost my first comptition because of a ref saying i'm useing headlocks.

judo is not flashy, but it's very effective, much more than most martial arts I daresay.
