@gypsykingg : Ah, ok. Makes sense: induce a little left roll force to compensate for a tendency to roll right due to a crosswind.

@lonewolfintj those aren't air brakes, those are spoilers. The BUFF uses these instead of ailerons and they are up on the left side because he has a crosswind

I wonder why the airbrakes were deployed during takeoff? You can clearly see this from 1:33 to 1:43 . Seems counterproductive; increases drag, but doesn't increase lift like flaps do.
