Tomb Raider Speedrun Redo - St. Francis' Folly

St. Francis' Folly done in 6:52. Thanks to AKA and MMAN for these shortcuts.

1.) Going near the switch in the gorilla room spawns Pierre in the pillar chamber, thus you avoid fighting him at the ground level of the Folly.

2.) Water gate bug was a big help and easy to do.

3.) Drawing your guns after inserting the first key messes up the door, so after putting in the other 3 keys, go by the first keyhole again and the door will open by the time you reach it. Saved a couple seconds there.

Is this the UK or USA (or anywhere else even) version? I once heard they replaced Lara's voice with an American voice for the release there. Sounds like bullshit but always wondered if it was true lol

This is the USA copy, I don't think her voice was changed. Sounds the same in all versions I've seen.

Yeah I didn't think of it at the time. In my secrets run of this level, I do ignore him.

They did a remake, but the remake sucks compared to the original.

@RadxxRyan The voice in this version is the same as in the UK so I guess it wasn't changed. It would have been kinda silly if they did change it anyway since the game clearly states she's British lol

@MegaChairmanMao A glitch is not a hack. In speedrunning circles glitches are generally acceptable since they count as part of the unmodified (vanilla) game. Hacks involve modifying the game and are generally not accepted.

@MegaChairmanMao It's a bug, and so technically a feature of the game. A hack is where you modify the game to introduce a bug. It's a bit cheeky but it's not cheating per se since any player can perform the action in the vanilla game.
