Avril is taking the role of an ordinary teenaged girl. At the begging she's at school with some friends and they talk about a new band. Avril decides to listen to the cd...
... and her life change completely!!! she's in love with one of the guys from the band...

If you need help understanding what's going on, read this:

At verse one, she's just 'becoming' a fan of the band. Listening to songs, talking about it with friends.

At chorus she's thinking of how much there is between her and her love (fame, paparazzi)... who doesn't even know she exists. If she knew him before he'd got famous... they

At verse two, she's collecting everything about the band. She's all invoved with her idols, with her friends...

At chorus repeat, again the boundaries of fame... and she sits at the couch to watch tv.

She's zapping through the channels... almost everything reminds her of her love... and then she finds news on their idols!!!

(I won't tell what happens then, think you'll understand why she flees home, what's going on her head... you'll get it :D )
