I agree. My brother-in-law woke up at the mortuary while the body next to him was being prepared. He was next to be embalmed. He spent 3 months in the hospital. He was lucky. He scared the assistant so bad that he screamed and ran out and never came back. The mortician said it was a fairly common occurrence. Of course once embalmed your truly dead. I died in childbirth and returned within a few minutes. What if I had taken longer to revive? I also suffer from sleep apnea. ???????

Nowadays, it is virtually impossible. If you are not dead before you got to the embalmer, you will be dead after. The way they are embalming bodies today is by removing all the blood via pump, and replacing it with embalming fluid. My aunt is married to the undertaker.

A lot of this use to happen 20 to 30 years ago back in my province in Philippine where the is no funeral home to embalmed the body, or a doctor to pronounce someone dead. casket are made by the relative carpenter using only 1tree. Because if they use 2 tree they said a relative will die in a few days. A lot of time the body that presume dead will move or wake up in a casket during viewing time. really really creepy.

I don't think it's impossible to be buried alive as the sceptics say. It will not happen alot with the medical knowledge nowadays, but it's not totally impossible. Mistakes are made and we don't know everything about the human body and brain yet.

I agree. Unfortunately doctors and scientists and their ilk can be rather arrogant in assuming they know everything. They don't. As much as they like to claim it wouldn't happen, two people in this documentary ended up in a morgue and they weren't even dead!
