She's Canadian, otherwise Canada wouldn't let her compete for Canada. She was actually born in Hazelton BC (near me), but that isn't isn't important either. I was born in Vancouver but about 1/2 my friends immigrated to Canada, including my wife. Of all the countries they could have chosen to be a citizen of they chose Canada, and that makes me proud.
